Is it legal to download videos?
Only download content you own, content you have permission to download, or content licensed for reuse such as Creative Commons or public-domain videos. You are responsible for respecting copyright and each platform's terms.
How long does converting take?
Usually under a minute for normal-length videos. Long videos and very high quality take longer. A progress bar shows how far along it is, and nothing is played.
Which browsers are supported?
Any modern browser, on a computer, phone or tablet.
Do you keep my files or links?
No. The video is fetched by our server only to convert it, and the file is deleted as soon as your download finishes (at the latest after one hour). We do not keep a history of the links you use. See our Privacy Policy.
Why can’t some videos be converted?
Private, age-restricted, members-only, region-locked and live videos can’t be converted, and videos longer than 3 hours aren’t supported. Sometimes YouTube temporarily blocks downloads; trying again later usually helps.
